About Me

I entered the culinary world as many great chefs do - at home. For as long as I can remember food has played a huge role in my life and as a child I spent endless days watching my mother cooking away in the kitchen. This early exposure to great food and the excitement of the restaurant business sparked a passion in my heart that continues to this day.

Traveling and working in kitchens all around the globe for the last 30 years, has allowed me to develop an eclectic and extensive repertoire of skills. My innovative and hands-on approach translates into carefully crafted menus with gorgeous dishes made from the finest local ingredients - fresh, healthy and absolutely delicious. I am proficient in a wide range of cooking styles including plant based dishes and I have an unparalleled flair for Asian cuisine. I design menus that suit my clients specific dietary needs and create meals that are not only mouth-watering but are balanced and nutritious as well.  

I have catered and cooked for some of the most prestigious families in South Africa, and continue to produce exceptional meals with skill, passion, patience, quality ingredients, and decades of experience. For me cooking is about more than “just food” - it is my life's work and my ultimate passion.
